Breakfast coffee smoothie

For everyone who loves to have their coffee in the morning, this is perfect for you! We lead busy lives and not everybody has time to sit down for a full breakfast every day. This is a way to have a healthier breakfast in an easy and fast way.

Ingredients:

1 cup coffee, stored overnight so it’s cooled

¼ cup oats

1 banana

1 cup milk of your choice

1 scoop protein powder of your preference

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

1 pinch of cinnamon

Put all the ingredients in a blender, enjoy immediately.

Protein in the morning makes your body wake up properly with the energy your body needs. The mixture of proteins, with carbs like oats and banana, helps to slow down the digestion of your breakfast giving you enough energy until lunch time arrives.

The cocoa powder is a source of good fats and magnesium which gives the smoothie its creamy consistency.

The cinnamon will help in slowing the absorption of sugars in your body, and will help improve blood glucose
