
A Blueberry Chia Smoothie is a refreshing and nutritious drink that can be a great breakfast or snack option. It takes 5 minutes to make.

1 ½ cup of blueberries
1 banana sliced
2 cups of coconut milk
2 tbsp. of chia seeds
In a blender combine all ingredients, blend until smooth.
Makes 2 servings.

This smoothie is full of antioxidants, vitamins and fibre. It can promote skin health, blood circulation and glowing skin. It helps in muscle recovery after exercise by reducing inflammation. The antioxidants in it helps support brain function and memory. Fibre content in the blueberries aids in digestion and promotes a healthy gut. This fruit is low in calories and may help lower blood pressure.
Store any leftover smoothie in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake or stir before serving as the chia seeds may settle at the bottom.
