With the province re-opening on July 11, one of Saskatoon’s popular summer events will be held a week later.
The Saskatchewan British Car Club will hold its Brits by the Bess car show on July 18 on 21st Street between Fourth Avenue and Spadina Cres. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Those attending will see mostly vintage vehicles that were made in Great Britain. The photos with this story gives an ultra-small taste of the many vehicles that will be wearing their Sunday best.
In the other photo, Aryanna Saunders, 5, sits in a rare 1959 Bedford at a show on June 20 on the parking lot at Birmingham’s Vodka & Ale House at Miller Avenue and Circle Drive.
There will be in the neighbourhood of 75 beautifully restored vehicles at the Brits by the Bess show. Restoring them is a labour of love for the approximate 180 club members in the province.
Now, they get to show them off.
