This smoothie is perfect to start your day or to have after the gym, as it is refreshing and full of antioxidants. It has cleansing and alkalizing properties, with a good amount of greens and fibre. This smoothie is packed with chlorophyll, carotene, calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
Ingredients
2 sticks of celery
2 kale leaves
½ cucumber
3 sprigs of parsley
1 apple
1 piece of ginger
1 c. water
Very simple to make – cut up all the ingredients and put them into the blender. Blend for 45 seconds or until smooth. If you prefer you can use coconut water instead of water.
If you like a sweeter flavor you can add a banana.
