Going out of your comfort zone
Having the trusted brand that you have been using is reassuring and comforting, but it is also nice to try new things. In the case of pet food, PetMobile and Multi Menu can be considered new here in the west but are known and quite popular in the east, especially in the city of Laval in Quebec and other areas in the French-speaking province, Ontario, and New Brunswick.
PetMobile and Multi Menu, under parent company Marketech Merchandising, is a network of more than 100 independent distributors mostly in eastern Canada. And has been slowly establishing its presence here in the west in Calgary and Cold Lake in Alberta, and Multi Menu in Regina. Recently, PetMobile Saskatoon began its operations in the city.
They are mostly home-based businesses that offer free delivery of top quality pet food that have human grade ingredients of protein (meat) and vegetables. It produces nutritious pet food that has no fillers and other animal by-products.
“And this is where we wanted to help pet owners. Offer an alternative pet food that fits the nutritional needs of their furry friends,” said PetMobile Saskatoon franchise owner Jon Perez. “Being also pet owners, we want what is best for them. We believed in the products that we offer, having seen its nutritional effects to Jake, our Chow-Shepherd mix.”
He added that Energy and Evolution Fish are some of the types of dry food under the Multi Menu brand that they gave their dog. “Jake is a rescue and was just about eight months old when we got him. He is full of energy and likes to play a lot with our son, so Multi Menu Energy provided him with the nutrients that he needs whenever they wrestle at home. Evolution Fish, meanwhile, helped with his shedding and gave him a shiny coat.”
Perez said there are other specialty recipes for dogs that are overweight, hypoallergenic, senior or older dogs, large breed, no grain, and the same with cats that offer weight management, urinary tract control, and hairball formulas.
Marketech, which carries the PetMobile and Multi Menu products, is a 100 per cent Canadian company that was founded in 1996. It uses 100 per cent Canadian ingredients that supports the Canadian agricultural industry: farmers and livestock producers.
